I'm honored to have graduated with honors from the inaugural batch of the College of Engineering at Northern Border University. Although my dream of becoming a Captain Pilot didn't materialize during high school registration, I discovered my true passion for engineering at NBU. The hands-on experiences during summer field training further fueled my love for the field. In 2014, I received a full scholarship from the Saudi government for my master's and Ph.D. degrees. Despite initial challenges adapting to a new culture without family support, I persevered with the encouragement of my parents and the support provided by Saudi Arabia and fellow students in the USA. I obtained my master's degree from Tennessee State University in 2017 and a Ph.D. from the University of Akron in 2022. I am immensely grateful for the opportunities and support that made these achievements possible. As a graduate of the College of Engineering, I am grateful for the invaluable experiences and the unwavering support of my family and Saudi Arabia. I am excited to contribute my knowledge and passion to the field of engineering in the future. | |
