Tasks:
Studying the needs of the Department's laboratories in terms of equipment, consumables and maintenance.
Preparing the specifications of the devices needed by the laboratories and studying the technical offers to ensure their technical conformity before the completion of the purchase process.
Developing a periodic maintenance program for the laboratories and following up on its implementation by the laboratory supervisors, especially at the end of each semester.
Equipping laboratories with the necessary furniture as well as appropriate teaching aids.
Periodic follow-up for the purpose of development of devices in the Department.
Studying the needs of the laboratories in terms of engineers, technicians, and assistants necessary to organize and equip the laboratories.
Follow up and review occupational safety rules for students and laboratory workers.
Implementing the University's policies regarding learning resources and support services from the relevant authorities.
