Tasks:

  • Studying the needs of the Department's laboratories in terms of equipment, consumables and maintenance.

  • Preparing the specifications of the devices needed by the laboratories and studying the technical offers to ensure their technical conformity before the completion of the purchase process.

  • Developing a periodic maintenance program for the laboratories and following up on its implementation by the laboratory supervisors, especially at the end of each semester.

  • Equipping laboratories with the necessary furniture as well as appropriate teaching aids.

  • Periodic follow-up for the purpose of development of devices in the Department.

  • Studying the needs of the laboratories in terms of engineers, technicians, and assistants necessary to organize and equip the laboratories.

  • Follow up and review occupational safety rules for students and laboratory workers.

  • Implementing the University's policies regarding learning resources and support services from the relevant authorities.
