Tasks :
Preparing the scientific research plan in the Department based on the strategic plan for practical research of the University and the College and following up on its implementation.
Work to form research groups within the Department in various fields.
Assisting and encouraging staff and students in the Department to conduct scientific research that meets the needs of the labor market and to publish them in journals and conferences.
Work to raise the research skills of the Department's staff through specialized courses and lectures.
Monitoring opportunities for research projects and opening channels of communication with those wishing to benefit from the services of research College members.
Prepare an annual report on the scientific output of the Department staff.
Motivating the program's staff to nominate for the University's research excellence awards.
Conducting a feasibility study to create postgraduate programs in the Department.
