 Functions of the Committee: 

  1. Propose faculty and staff community service activities aligned with the department's vision, mission, objectives, and scientific focus. 

  2. Support university and college community service initiatives.

  3. Collaborate with the College Dean's office to build effective partnerships between the department and the community. 

  4. Foster partnerships and collaboration with the Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education. 

  5. Encourage faculty, staff, and students to participate in community service programs. 

  6. Oversee the organization of courses, lectures, and seminars related to social responsibility and community service. 

  7. Evaluate the effectiveness of faculty and staff community service activities. 

  8. Maintain records of departmental community service activities and events. 

  9. Prepare the committee's annual report and submit it to the department head.
